Laura Formanek is a well-traveled foodie and writing major at Marist College. Her European travels consist of a two-week trip touring six cities in Spain including her favorite, Valencia and most recently Italy, where she visited Florence and the surrounding Tuscan Countryside. You may have spotted her wandering the streets near the Ponte Vecchio with a small cone of pera e cioccolata extranoir gelato.
When not reading, writing or running, Laura can be found in the kitchen whipping up batches of Chocolate Snickerdoodles and Rice Krispies Lemon Cookies. Though she loves taking photos of her travels, Laura never leaves home without her notebook, which she feels helps capture more of the emotions and feelings of her experiences.
Her European travel adventures continue this fall as she studies abroad in Prague while in search of fresh salsa – one of her favorite foods.
