Ha ha! If you think turning 40 is traumatizing, wait until you turn 50. Now, that’s something odd! I still cannot believe I am in my 50s. I can barely say the word. It is a strange thing to look in the mirror and not recognize the face looking back at you. I don’t care what anyone says, the 30s are way better than the 40s, 50s, and beyond. But it’s better than the alternative. So keep on with that moisturizer, keep a smile on your face, and just keep going forward! You’re only as old as you feel.

Happy Birthday and welcome to a wonderful decade! I mean it. All the women I know in their 40s think it is by far the best decade they have been living. I agree. There is something about feeling good about yourself, coming into your own and loving yourself more. It’s a very powerful time in life. Enjoy…oh, and you will reach your dreams – with persistent desire.

Happy Birthday to you!!
I’m 35. The hardest thing for me about getting older is worrying that I won’t get to do all the things I want to do in this life. That’s why I’m making a conscious effort to go to Italy as often as I can, and why I’m in the process of changing careers from something I never wanted to do to something that I’m going to enjoy. I also wonder if I shouldn’t have waited so long to have a baby.
But then I realize that everything happens the way it is supposed to, at the time it is supposed to, and I relax!
