Hi!
I was looking for places to stay in California and stumbled through this article. Thanks so much for the resources they were really helpful. As incredible as it may sound, I didn’t really considered vacation rentals as an option. I have booked a condo now! It was really way cheaper than the three hotel rooms that I was planning to book. I searched venere but couldn’t find an available one. I got into a site called http://www.rentalo.com which also lists b&bs, vacation rentals and hotels and finally booked my rental. I thought you might liked it. It allowed me to send a single inquiry to multiple properties, which after like 8 hours of searching, resulted very convenient. I basically waited for responses and booked the right one. They also have like tabs that allow you search only vacation rentals, only bed and breakfasts or only hotels, which was also very handy. I thought I should let you know!
Anyways.. thanks for the resources!

I *heart* Venere and use them as a great source of research when looking for hotels. B&Bplanet is a good one, too, but I think they focus only on Italy.
