I’ve slept in so many airports I can’t remember them all. Personally I enjoy it. It’s usually quiet and if it’s not I’m a heavy sleeper

HA! When I went to Europe in May I spent two nights at O’Hare (thanks to idiocy of Air France) and then two nights at Charles DeGaulle. Their place on the “worst airports” is most definetaly warranted.

I have slept in several airports, and I can confirm that Incheon in Seoul is fab. There’s even a reasonably-priced hotel beyond security where you can rent a bed by the hour. Or get a massage. It is good!

My friend Cheryl and I found ourselves arriving in Jakarta at midnight and the airport hotel shuttered and full for the night. Benches were our option until the 9am flight, but the small cockroaches crawling over every available space made that a nightmare. We finally found one bench that seemed fairly bug-free and propped ourselves up back to back and tucked inside our tightly wrapped sleep sacks, keeping an all-night vigil for anything stray and scurrying around! After that night, even a hostel bed never looked so good!
