When we were strolling around the Luxembourg Gardens, we came across a special exhibit in the L’Orangerie. This is normally where they keep all of the beautiful trees in the colder months. It looked rather interesting, so we decided to pop in.
There were lots of food exhibits, demonstrations, food structures and some scary things too. They were giving away free pears, a little under-ripe, but free just the same. It was also a free exhibit. How nice of them.
So other than the *fruit face* from yesterday, we saw this scary thing…hmm just in time for Halloween
There were spiders too….ohhhhh..eeeewwwww
This lovely watering can fountain display was surrounded by baskets of fresh fruits and vegetables like radishes, red onions, oranges and pineapple…what a creative and colorful centerpiece…
Speaking of creative. This was a talented chef that was creating fruit and vegetable flowers right before our eyes…
He was so good with that knife
And another station was juicing fresh combinations of fruits and veggies. We tried the carrot apple juice, which was simply delicious and so good for you
What a lovely celebration of food. And leave it to the French to have a free food exhibit ….they do have a way of celebrating food like no one else!! It is an art-form…non?
