I was lucky enough to receive many lovely Christmas greetings from a few of my friendly readers and friends.
Thank you one and all!
But the little treasure pictured above stuck out amongst the others. Not only for its classy and jeweled appearance, or the fact that is it French and a dazzling and sparkly rendition of the Eiffel Tower. (oh la la!)
No, is also struck a sweet cord in my heart.
The sender, Angie, who is a blog friend and fellow Francophile, wrote a lovely note inside. Allow me to share a small snippit of it.
" I am so thankful for your friendship and the joy that your writing brings to my life."
And she goes onto say that she picked the card up in Paris and she knew the moment she saw it, it would go to me!
After I cleared the lump in my throat and the tear welling in my eye, it dawned on me just how extra special this blog has become to me. And how lucky I am to have such dear friends who read it.
I can honestly say that I have not read sweeter words giving me such a warm feeling and positive affirmation of purpose in my life.
And for that Angie, I am truly grateful. Mere words on my blog cannot explain how those words touched me.
I really don't make money from the blog, basically just enough to cover the cost of running it.
So it is people like Angie and all of you readers out there, with your kind hearts, loving spirits and inspirational words that keep me here. Doing what I love. Connecting. Sharing. Offering words of advice. Day after day.
Thank you dear readers and friends, from the bottom of my heart. And a special Merci, to Angie!
