All this talk these last two weeks about France and The Paris Apartment made me remember what I love so much about France, flea markets and decorating.
I love the tattered old things, muted-blues, dirty-creams, faded-taupes, off-whites, dusty-greys.
Anything French Country will do.
Simple. Lacey. Linen. Sweet. Shabby and Chic. Rusted. Faded. Peeling. Ripped. Worn. Beaten-up. Broken-down.
There is such history and always a good story behind items such as these. And I love me a good story.
They speak to me in a way Pottery Barn just doesn't.
Maybe I'm an old soul.
Whatever the reason, allow me to show you what I mean. They say a picture is worth a thousand words!
What is your decorating style? What speaks to you? Are you French Country or Modern Manhattan?
