Ron writes this about his photo:
We had just arrived in Copacabana, Bolivia from La Paz late the night before and checked into the Hotel Rosario del Lago. It was the jumping off point for a trip to Isla del Sol the following day.
I’ve always liked this image because it was virtually pitch-black when we arrived and I had no idea how close to Lake Titicaca I was until the sun came up. Had I gone for a walk when we arrived, I probably would’ve walked right into the lake.
When I awoke that morning in room #205, this was my view. There are worse ways to start a day and a rainbow is always a nice surprise.
