My first time visiting the Pierre Hermé patisserie on the left bank was a decadent treat. Everything was so beautiful, I wanted to taste it all. But then I spotted this giant pink raspberry macaron-like confection, called an Ispahan, through the display case. Absolute Perfection.
My eyes nearly popped out of my skull and I started salivating.
Yeah. Paris pastries will do that to you.
